Greg Terra and Stephen Casey are allied attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund. In January of 2011, they partnered to form the Texas Center for Defense of Life and have seen a number of cases involving forced abortion. And thanks to legal counsel, they’ve been able to contribute to some happy outcomes.

Allan Parker is an attorney and President of the Justice Foundation. In the past few years, the foundation has amassed nearly 5,000 testimonies of women who were coerced into having an abortion.

Sarah Stone is the Executive Director of the Pregnancy Care Center in San Antonio, Texas. Sarah and her staff offer free pregnancy services to women as well as trying to provide legal help and counseling support for women facing a coercive abortion situation.

Day Doblinger was only 17-years-old and living with her aunt and uncle when she discovered she was pregnant. Though Day loved and wanted her baby, her aunt threatened to kick her out of the house if she didn’t have an abortion. Day was terrified to stand up for herself and was coerced into having an abortion.

Though coerced abortions are common, the number of women willing to share their testimony is not. But it’s important for these women to come forward with their stories. They may be able to help and protect those who are in the same situation they once faced.
